Ward off winter weather damage with these hydrating moisturizers…Skin By Ann Webb Olive Eye Hydration Therapy.
Tribeza
After struggling with severe acne as a child [she] sought treatment from a variety of sources, becoming passionate about skincare, and reading every article and medical journal she could get her hands on. Today she serves about 500 clients at her office and two SBAW studios. She has also created ten different skincare products that are distributed across six states in specialty healthcare stores. “I have unique, realistic methods for treating skin. It’s not just about having products on a shelf. I want to impact people,”says Webb.

Growing up wondering if she would ever be able to afford the products that would help her skin prompted Webb to create an affordable and flexible line. Ann Webb…has learned the tricks of the trade from dermatologists, her studies in medical esthetics, and years of personal research. Her new product line, Skin by Ann Webb, is the result of this research, paired with the idea that great skin care shouldn’t be expensive.

As part of its “buy local”campaign, Whole Foods recently added Skin by Ann Webb to its line up of spa products. The Austin based esthetician uses pharmaceutical grade ingredients in her all natural-and affordable-cleansers, exfoliants and moisturizers. This facial is more like an enzyme peel, adjusted for strength based on skin type and lifestyle. After being tucked in with warm blankets, our facialist assessed our skin–she noticed a bit of dermatitis on our chin–and went to work. Products were gently applied and wiped away, and a refreshing, cool Cucumber Mist and pure oxygen spray kept our face hydrated between applications. For that pesky redness, our esthetician used Olive Eye Therapy, which is marketed as an eye cream but works wonders on other areas. While the potions were penetrating, we were treated to a head, neck, and scalp massage. Nearly an hour later, we emerged radiant and rejuvenated.

The Spa by Whole Foods Market at Preston Forest takes an ordinary food run to an insanely blissful level…Tried on our visit was the AW face peel, $65 for 50 minutes, a moisturizing facial using gentle Ann Webb products.
New Beauty – Anniversary Issue
The new face of beauty…Natural or organic skin care doesn’t mean having to sacrifice results. Through a random twist of fate, I was introduced to Ann Webb, an Austin-based aesthetician whose amazing, eponymous line of yummy, easy to use natural skin care has become a best seller at Whole Foods. After only one day, I was hooked.
